Islamski Centar Ostrožac
The Islamic Center Ostrožac is one of the most modern and impressive religious complexes in the Bosanska Krajina. It was officially opened in 2018 after several years of construction, thanks to the contributions of hundreds of donors from Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad. The complex is built along the main road between Bihać and Cazin, just a few hundred meters from the Old Town of Ostrožac, and it dominates this part of the Una Valley with its appearance. At the center of the complex is a spacious domed mosque that can accommodate more than 2,000 worshippers, making it one of the largest mosques in this part of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In addition to the mosque, the Islamic Center includes numerous facilities intended for the religious, educational, and social life of the community, making it an important gathering place and spiritual center for the people of Krajina.
