Titova - Pećina
Tito's Cave in Drvar is one of the most significant historical sites in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Located on the slopes above the town, it became famous for events from World War II, when it served as the headquarters of the Supreme Command of the National Liberation Army of Yugoslavia led by Josip Broz Tito. It was here, on May 25, 1944, that the German assault on Drvar, known as Operation Rösselsprung, was carried out with the aim of capturing Tito, who managed to evade the attack.
