At the exit of the Una Canyon, five kilometers before Bosanska Krupa, lies the mysterious Black Lake – a powerful karst spring beside the Una River. Although crystal clear, its depth and constant shade give it a dark appearance. Beneath the calm surface stretches a 140-meter underwater gallery descending beyond 60 meters. With a temperature of 9–11°C, the water rises from the vast karst system of Mount Grmeč and remains clear even after heavy rains. The rare olm (Proteus anguinus) inhabits this spring. Black Lake is a natural wonder of the Bosnian Krajina – a place of silence, mystery and untouched beauty.
