The City Mosque in Bosanska Krupa — a symbol of faith, community, and endurance. In the heart of Bosanska Krupa, as a silent witness of time, stands the City Mosque — Pazardžik Mosque, as it is originally named. Its story began around 1830 when it was originally built of wood. After the wooden mosque was demolished in 1905, just three years later, the residents of Krupa united to build a new one similar to the current one. Architecturally, the City Mosque in Bosanska Krupa represents an exceptional blend of pseudo-Moorish and Gothic elements. According to journalist Jasmin Grošić's research, its designer was engineer Karl Fitzinger, whose name appears on the list of officials in the Bosanski glasnik from 1902.
