    Stari grad Ostrožac

The Old Town of Ostrožac is one of the most impressive and best-preserved fortresses in Bosnia and Herzegovina, located on a dominant elevation above the left bank of the Una River, twelve kilometers from Bihać towards Bosanska Krupa. This magnificent fortress is a unique blend of several historical epochs – a medieval fortress, an Ottoman town, and a lavish palace from the Austro-Hungarian period. It is first mentioned in historical sources in 1286, as the property of the powerful Blagaj princes, the Babonić family, who governed a wider area of the Cazin region from here. It came under Ottoman rule at the end of the 16th century, when it became the seat of one of the strongest captaincies in the Bosanska Krajina, which was governed for almost three centuries by members of the Beširević family. At the beginning of the 20th century, Count Lothar von Berks restored the fortress and built a romantic castle in the neo-Gothic style within its walls. Today, Ostrožac, declared a national monument, also hides a sculpture park under the open sky, and from its walls, there is an unforgettable view of the emerald Una and the surrounding canyon. A walk through this edifice is truly a journey through time.

    ZIP LINE Bosanska Krupa

On the slopes above Bosanska Krupa, accessed via the Ćojluk hill, begins an adventure that smells of forest and adrenaline. The trail leads to a viewpoint offering a fantastic view of the Una canyon towards Bihać – emerald water, rocks, and silence interrupted only by the murmur of the river. ZIP LINE Bosanska Krupa offers a zip-line descent over the canyon: gear is put on after a short training, the carabiner "clicks," and in the next moment, you glide above the river – light, free, with a dose of true courage from Krajina. After the descent, you can also walk across hanging steps on a cable (type "via ferrata"/aerial steps) – an adrenaline bridge in the air that tests your balance, but also offers even better views.

    Stari grad Pset
    16

    Stari grad Pset

Stari Grad PSET, located on a picturesque hill above the Una River, represents one of the most precious historical treasures of Bosanska Krajina. This medieval fortress combines a wealth of history, enchanting architecture, and stunning natural surroundings, making it an unmissable place for those who wish to feel the spirit of past times. Today, a walk through the ruins of Pset offers a unique opportunity to sense the breath of history. The stone walls, towers, and remnants of former buildings testify to a time of chivalry, trade routes, and daily life within the walls of this powerful fortress. Each step takes you deeper into the past – through narrow medieval paths, ramparts, and towers that ignite the imagination and transport you back to the era of feudal lords.

    Štrbački buk
    20

    Štrbački buk

Štrbački buk is one of the most impressive waterfalls on the Una River and one of the most famous natural symbols of this area. Located within Štrbački buk, it represents a spectacular series of cascades where the Una River plunges over travertine rocks, creating a powerful sound, mist, and an extraordinary visual experience. Surrounded by untouched forest and steep canyons, this site attracts visitors who want to experience the raw power of nature and the unique beauty of the karst landscape. Štrbački buk is one of the most photographed locations in the region and a must-visit point for all nature and adventure lovers.
